I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions including parenting, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and navigating neurodivergence.

-
Yes, confidentiality is a core part of therapy. There are a few legal exceptions, which I’ll go over clearly in our first session.
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and figure out if my practice is the right fit for you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. There is no obligation to return following this. It is normal to feel nervous at the beginning of therapy, but rest assured that I will do my best to provide a confidential, comfortable space to help you feel at ease.
-
To book a free 15 minute consultation or a full appointment, you can get in touch through my contact form or email me directly at drmicheladevaney.com to schedule an initial session.
-
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for a few sessions to work through something specific, while others engage in longer-term work. We’ll discuss your goals and check in regularly.
-
You don’t need to have a diagnosis or a clear reason to start therapy. If something’s on your mind or you’re feeling off balance, that’s reason enough.
-
My standard fee is €120 per session. My concession fee for students or the unemployed is €100.
-
Yes — my practice is focused on adults aged 18 and over.

Fiáin (pronounced fee-awn) is an Irish word meaning "wild" or "untamed." It speaks to the natural, authentic parts of ourselves — the parts that exist beyond expectations, pressures, or past wounds. At Fiáin Counselling, I believe healing is about reconnecting with your true self: free, whole, and alive.
